AffiliEngine AI Pro ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of merchants who use our Shopify application. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and handle information when you install and use AffiliEngine AI Pro on your Shopify store.

AffiliEngine AI Pro does NOT collect, sell, or process Protected Customer Data (such as customer names, physical addresses, order history, credit cards, or customer personal contact info). Our application is strictly a content creation and affiliate marketing SEO blogging engine.

2. Information We Collect

To provide our automated affiliate review blogging and SEO publishing services, we only collect and process the following minimal merchant data:

• Shopify Store Identification: Your store domain (e.g. yourstore.myshopify.com) and offline OAuth access token to publish articles directly to your store's Shopify Online Store blog.
• Catalog & Content Information: Internal store product titles, descriptions, and tags (used only to generate comparative review articles matching your products) and created blog articles.
• App Configuration & Settings: Your optional Amazon Associates affiliate tags, scheduling intervals, and personal API keys (if using Bring Your Own Key / BYOK mode).

3. How We Use Information

Collected information is used exclusively for the following operational purposes:

• To generate SEO-optimized articles, comparison tables, and blog posts via state-of-the-art AI engines.
• To automatically publish or draft articles to your store's blog channels based on your schedule preferences.
• To manage your app billing subscription tier via Shopify's native Billing API.

4. Third-Party Services & Subprocessors

We work with trusted third-party providers strictly to deliver core AI and scraping functionalities:

• Shopify API: For OAuth handshake, blog publishing, theme block integration, and billing.
• AI Model Providers: OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, and Grok (only article generation prompts and public product specifications are sent; no merchant customer data is ever sent).

5. Data Retention & Deletion (Shopify Compliance)

We honor all mandatory Shopify Privacy Compliance Webhooks:

• Customer Data Request (customers/data_request): Since we do not store customer personal data, requests return verified confirmation of no customer data on file.
• Customer Redaction (customers/redact): Automatically processed to ensure no customer records exist.
• Shop Redaction & Uninstall (shop/redact & app/uninstalled): When you uninstall the app or request shop data deletion, your store records, scheduled queues, and tokens are permanently removed or anonymized within 48 hours.

6. Security Measures

We implement enterprise-grade security practices, including TLS 1.3 SSL encryption in transit, strict Shopify HMAC-SHA256 webhook validation, parameterized SQLite database storage, and restricted isolated VPS infrastructure.
